How to become a Registered Consultant

IRG is expanding its network of consultants for both short- and long-term assignments. We invite consultants with expertise in the following areas: resources, economics, governance, capacity building, relief and reconstruction, and carbon initiatives, or related fields to submit their qualifications to Recruitment@irgltd.com. Our consultants have a minimum of seven years' professional experience in international development, possess language skills (Arabic, French, Russian, Spanish, etc), and offer experience with USAID, multilateral funding organizations, or related international agencies. IRG will contact you to invite you to join our registry if your qualifications meet the requirements of our work. Please send CVs to Recruitment@irgltd.com . (Please name attached CVs in this format "Lastname-Firstname.Doc" and type "New Consultant - Your Name" in the subject line of your email message.)

Once we have responded to your CV submission to join IRG's consultant registry, we will provide you with a password to access the above link to download our registration form and other important documents. Once you have filled out our consultant registration forms, please email them back to us.


Update Your CV

To maintain an active and current consultant registry, we encourage currently registered consultants to email updated resumes and new contact information to ConsultantRegistry@irgltd.com*. Please point out any new skills you have acquired since your last submission, including new country experience, language skills, educational qualifications, or technical expertise. (Please name attached CVs in this format "Lastname-Firstname.Doc" and type "Consultant Update - Your Name" in the subject line of your email message.)

The State Department has information on foreign per diem rates. Domestic per diem rates can be found on the GSA’s website.

USAID’s Forms page includes important forms such as the USAID bio-data-1420

The ADB's Documents on Consulting Services page has important information on ADB consulting procedures and proposal guidelines, including the ADB CV format (see page 10 of Instructions on Preparation of Technical Proposal).

Embassy World.com has a directory and search engine of all the world's embassies and consulates.
•  OANDA, the currency site has information for currency conversion.
•  The World Time Server has information about time anywhere in the world.

The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs has a comprehensive medical site packed with contact names and addresses that are useful for Americans traveling abroad.

WHO has a country list of vaccination certificate requirements as well as a global malaria update.
• 
The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention Site makes research easy - just click on the map to match a country and its most prevalent diseases. Or try the whole thing listed alphabetically - it's literally the A-Z of diseases.

The African Medical and Research Foundation is a health resource for those traveling in Africa .
• 
Shoreland Travel Health Online has information by destination, by health issue, and about travel medicine providers.

TMVC Healthy Travel has a country-by-country immunization chart and information on travel and health.
• 
Visit Outdoor Action Guide to High Altitude: Acclimatization and Illnesses if you're going to interesting but oxygen-deprived places.

MASTA (Medical Advisory Services for Travelers Abroad) was set up in 1984 at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to raise the awareness of health issues associated with travel. This site offers authoritative and up-to-date information on travel health issues.
